 Anthony Okungbowan, the Edo State Head of Service have been reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen Okungbowan was abducted in Benin-City, the state capital, on Saturday. The Head of Service was said to have been whisked away to an unknown destination at gunpoint by the gunmen. As at the time of filing this report, the abductors have not contacted any member of his family or made claim for payment of ransom.

 The Commissioner for Local Government Affairs Hon. Stella Odey-Ekpo lauds His Excellency, Senator Prof. Ben. Ayade for having fulfilled his promise of providing twenty thousand jobs for Cross River State Youths. The Commissioner confirmed that youths in the Northern senatorial District have benefitted from the benevolence of his Excellency with thousands of youths being engaged in Homeland security committee, Border Patrol Committee and Agricutural Services Committee accordingly. She further reiterated that beneficiaries from the North have been paid, while waiting for those of Central and South to follow suit. My name is Bisong Joshua A. a native of Boki, as a concern son of Boki who has reviewed the activities of student unionism and traced antecedence from inception to modern day, it is imperative that I draw your attention to the underlying truth which is glaring and obviously visible as regards to NACRISS WW, I have come to the realization that almost all LGA'S in central Cross  River State have been fairly represented in student unionism and have in one point or another produced a NACRISS WW president, except for Boki and Obubra,  Abi produced the pioneer president,Yakurr, Ikom, and then Etung.       Also it is pertinent that I draw your attention that Obubra has equally had its own fair share, the current NYCN state Chairman is from Obubra.    It is enough reason why we as Sons and daughters of this great Nation should Holistically champion this Cause, this isn't a s...
