STILL ON WHO WILL TELL THE GOVERNOR !!
By: Paschal Nyiam
1. Each time my beloved mother seats me down for advise coupled with the series of calls and chats of advised from various corners to do away and desist from writing and saying the obvious truth to the govts to put them to their toes and wake them to their responsibilities, and being frontal to the power that be for the wrongs to be made right, i become more piqued to say like Sen. DM, "if you say the truth, you die, and if you don't, you still die". Rather, i would say the truth, die and be justified vociferous agitations to what needs to be done.

2. Still on who Will summon the courage no matter the appointment you are occupying to tell the governor HE, Gov. Ben Ayade the truth on the sufferings of Nigerians with interest in Cross River State....
3. I strongly bemoan the stiffheartedness of the governor on issues affecting his citizens and his soft and mild way in handling such challenges to curtailing hunger, untimely deaths, starvation and sufferings.
4. All this appointments without end is becoming worrisome and needs national attention toying to the fact the CRS government can't boast of a single commissioned and completed project since his terms in office close to six years still counting on as GOVERNOR.

5. Pathetically and ironically to note, retirees pensions and gratuities are still pending and only him, the governor and God knows when these would be visited and given proper attention.
6. Yes, i would have towed the line/path of keeping quiet on this issue of great concern since am neither a pensioner nor worker but for posterity sake and for my unborn children that may gather courage and momentum to ask their father what efforts I made to ameliorate the plight of the people in my capacity when I had a voice and when I was still young, what excuse would be despicably preferred to profer?
7. Emphatically and more sophisticatedly, some have been waiting hopefully since 2014, while painfully many are down in health with ailments associated with age that needs critical and urgent attention and regular medications which all these goes with necessity of resources and funds (money).
Ironically, many have died painful deaths, (hmm may their souls find rest, Amen) without enjoying their benefits and dividends of their labour after 35years, i mean 35 good years of toiling, suffering and active service to the nation.
It would be despicably abysmal and outrightly wrong for all to keep mute for fear of being chased to afukang or kirikiri.
9. What happens when you grow old and turns to a pensioner, who will you cry to?
Unless and until this and many more questions are attempted, our supports and loyalties to the present administration would just be placed on the alter of deceit, eye service and mare illusion.
10. Again i ask who will tell the governor the truth?
11. Dear Governor Ben Ayade, after series of calls to you, countless text messages and chats to you with no replies,i deem it necessary to open up and pour out what i feel on the neglected state in the payments of gratuities and pensions.
12. Sir, i am one person that always prays seasonally for you to succeed in your mandate, but sir, unfortunately the reverse is the case, our State have been mortgage and have become a laughing stock for others to make a carricature of, to the extent of your colleague (the gbas gbos master) degenerating to name-calling you a boy boy.
13. Sir, our thrust reposed on you is fast fading due to the little or no impact felt having you as our no.1 citizen of the our dear state, CRS.
14. Sir, it would be historically appauling to note that in your eight years as governor, you couldn't have anything to show as a legacy for your tenures at the peregrino house.
15. Sir, while i am still optimistic for a change of leadership style, prowess on the mal-administration, ineptitude and gross malfunctioning, mind-mindedness and heart-heartedness in office pertaining to the developmental strides of the State as compared to other sister neighboring states, our purposes of electing you into such an exhaustive office of the governor of our dear state would just be defeated if you don't consider the outcry of your citizens.
16. I remain the mystery Paschal and I mean well for you, your Excellency as I come in Peace, though expecting your hallelujah praise singing media aids to come after backing like loose angry dogs at me.
