HONORABLE COMMISSIONER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS MEETS COUNCILOR LEADERS FORUM

Earlier today, the Councilor leaders Forum paid familiarization and enlightenment visit to the Honorable Commissioner, ministry of Local Government Affairs, Hon. Mrs Stella Oreme Odey-Ekpo in her office.

The forum requested to be briefed of their entitlement and better ways to work Harmoniously work for the good of the grassroot.

The Commissioner, in her response welcomed and congratulated the councilors/leaders for their well deserved victory at the poll and in their various LGA legislative council. She declared her readiness to work with them always for the good of Cross Riverians. Responding to their request, she highlighted all that is due to them.

The forum officially presented their Elected leadership to the Honorable Commissioner for recognition. See the list below...

In Conclusion, the honorable Commissioner advised the leaders to work in unison and understanding with their respective council Chairman, because it is the only way good governance can get to the grassroot.

NB Leaders Forum is made up of leaders from the 18 LGAs legislative council in Cross River State.
