This morning, Inyali Peter wrote about Young people blackmailing themselves and assassinating characters online to please their bosses. Truly, many young people you see online are a product of the leaders they follow.

Some of Cross River State's supposed "Big Men/Politicians" are belligerent, Petty and loutish. You'd be shocked to see the frivolous issues they give priority to, then you would fear for our dear State. Encouraging attack on people by sending screenshots or relating private conversations with people to their dependents to use in online blackmail is the height of shamelessness. Our society is saturated with more Political opportunists than cerebral technocrats.

Whoever hangs around a leader will most likely be privy to certain information and adopt certain characteristics of that leader both the negatives and the positives. There are Leaders who concern themselves with brainstorming and strategizing and even allow their young followers to learn and share opinions on issues and there are those leaders who busy themselves with grapevine conversations, hurl insults on critics and perceived opposition, the evidence is in the quality of followers they have; indolent, irrational, ignorant blackmailers and character assassins. It is a deafitist strategy but no man has monopoly of it.
