The Leader of Boki Legislative Council and Councilor representing the good and productive people of Beebo/Bumaji Ward, Hon. Amos Ijow Otu celebrate the Boki New yam Festival with lots of activities. As the first Leader of Council ever produced by the ward, Hon Otu started the pre-New yam activities by hosting the Chiefs, Community Leaders and women of his immediate Community and representation with a Big Ram to them for New yam Festival.

The Leader of Boki 7th Legislative Council and Councilor of Beebo/Bumaji Ward on the 18th August 2020 hosted the aged, widows and vulnerables poor of the Ward and distributed palliatives worth thousands of Naira to them. The so much excited crowd poured prayers, encomiums and appreciations to the Councilor  who just few months in office have started creating so much impact on them and delivering his campaign promises to always be with them and ameliorating their plights.
On the 19th August 2020, the Leader of Boki Council & Councilor representing Beebo/Bumaji Ward played host to Ward Leaders and Political Friends from home and in the Diaspora.

The Councilor who during Campaign was addressed and called *Face of Hope* during the awaited Council election who later was re-named and addressed MR FRESH took a new name before his friends and Political Associates. He took time to appreciate each leaders and associates for the supports he enjoyed mentioning the roles they played in his emergence as Councilor.

The excited Leader of Council & Hon Councilor of Beebo/Bumaji ward told his cheering crowd ... That he has built a good house,he has a Car and the Government will give him another Car,he is happily married with kids what else does he need as a Councillor if not for his People to enjoy their Votes and dividends of Democracy. The Leader of Boki Council & Councilor of Beebo/Bumaji ward took a new name and said henceforth his new name is *"ENJOY YOUR VOTE"*. Notable  amongst the friends are the Otinkpa 1,the Kanye Kansty Kanyong, the Ochikpa Ne Bebi-Bekpachi,the Prince of Bambariko Nation,Hon Prince Gabriel Ogre, the immediate past member Anti- Deforestation CRS,The Honourable Councilor Representing Beutebe Ward,Hon Minge Santus Minge,the Personal Assistant to the Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Afforestation Mr Elijah Akpofour, The immediate Special Assistant to the Governor on Charity, Hon. Eliman Eliman, Ward Party Executives, friends from Abuja and USA and many others.

The vulnerables and aged where not left out.


Amongst the people who made indelible commentaries during the occasions are his Elder Brother,Hon Otu Michael Otukie who was the APC councilorship  candidate for Beebo/Bumaji ward during the last Council election, Hon Otu Michael solicited for prayers for his younger Brother Hon Amos Otu, he said there is no more APC or PDP, election is over and they're the Otu's and not seperateable and he is ready and available to work collectively when need arises and occasion demands for now is time for selfless governance and purposeful leadership. His Friend from the US ask for prayers for his friend and prayed that there will be improvement on the road aspect for the people of the area.



Conclusively, to crown the activities, the Leader of Council and Councilor of Beebo/Bumaji ward Celebrated the Birthday of the First Lady of the Ward and First Lady of the Boki 7th Legislative Council Mrs Faith Orubeke Ijow Otu in a Grand Style. The Honourable Councilor and husband to the celebrant poured encomiums and kind words on his wife and express the joy, relief and happiness of having her as a wife and mother of his children. The Celebrant who was full of  Joy and excitement, thanked and eulogies her Husband for Celebrating her and marking her Day. She prayed for her husband and thanked the people present for  celebrating her, her family members,Sister in-law and  Community women who came out to Celebrate her. There was much to wine, dine and Dance.




Earlier, the Hon Councilor has visited the two Communities of Ogwefor and YANGWAME who are involved in Land dispute sued for Peace and reconciled the two Communities.
