Engr. Joel Henshaw who is the State Deputy Chairman of the NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA Cross River State Chapter is no doubt an exceptional leader who has over the years demonstrated excellence in working together with Youths and helping them achieve their goals. 

Engr. Joel Henshaw an ardent believer of young persons and their vision, has impacted Youths within and outside the State and has proven that Youths are never too young to be agents of positive change and development. 

In recognition of his selfless service to Humanity and demonstration of outstanding good leadership qualities, Engr. Joel Henshaw was given an Appreciation Award by the Youth Ministry of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, His great joy Area Calabar, Cross River State.

Speaking during the award ceremony which was held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 Engr. Joel Henshaw was described by the Youth Minister of His Great Joy Area, as not just a Youth leader but also a revered teacher, counselor, father, and friend to young persons and as such his undoubtedly a blessing to the Youth ministry of RCCG. 

Engr. Joel Henshaw was honored for being an inspiration as well as a role model to Youths while proving to be a trailblazer. Furthermore, he was applauded for living an exemplary life as instructed by Christ and shining the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Receiving the award, Engr. Joel Henshaw, thanked the Youth Ministry of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, His Great Joy Area, for finding him exceptional to be awarded..

In his words, "the award received today shows that I've a lot to do more than even before and I  promised to effectively give in my best in ensuring young people are inspired to have their voices heard and be agents of positive change in the society''

The State Deputy Chairman NYCN-CRS His Youthfulness Engr. Joel Henshaw, described the award as a huge honor and and expressed gratitude to everyone who found him worthy of nomination. He further called for their support and collaboration to enable him to deliver more effectively.
