Ted Afu Inyang's Football tournament targeted to promote peaceful coexistence, unity and reconciliation in Boje and Nsadop communities in Boki LGA, Cross River State.

The twelve-week football tournament of Ted Afu Inyang's sports tournament organization had the likes of Universal FC Of Nsadop

and  Enyi United Of Boje as contenders on the 17th of November  at St. Micheal primary school field Bansan Osokom. The game which was a draw game ( Universal FC Nsadop  vs Enyi United Boje 2:2). The tournament tagged Ted Afu Inyang Sports Tournament brought together youth football teams from twelve various communities cutting across the Boki 1&2 state constituencies  to compete in both football  championship and other leisure games aimed at fostering peaceful co-existence and building the spirit of love, forgiveness and reconciliation among the youth of the two neighboring communities and promoting development.


The Ted Afu Inyang Sports Tournament is an initiative of Hon Ted Afu Inyang as a show of his thankfulness, kindness and appreciation to God for Life and mercies sofar and also to give back to the community and contribute his qouta to the wellbeing of the people, social upliftment and bringing back Boki to her good old days of peace and harmony.

Hon. Ted Afu Inyang employed creative approaches to reach out to and educate communities in attitude and behavior changes that enhanced their capacity to participate in peaceful reconstruction and reintegration processes. To advance the gains made with this approach people from both warring communities have to come together play together, interact and associate as such lessening the tension and uproar.

Thank you Hon. Ted Afu Inyang for this gesture. Words can't express how grateful the entire Boki youths are for this gesture and way of admonishing the youths to be good advocates of themselves.
